ASPEN RESOURCES
New to Aspen, or here part of the year? These are the local sources I use myself. For anything about a specific property, start with the Pitkin County Assessor, the most reliable public record for ownership, square footage and valuation. For local news, the Aspen Times and Aspen Daily News cover town council, planning decisions and openings. My own guides cover the airport, RFTA buses, wildfire preparedness, bears and property tax appeals.
